2008 Wimbledon Finals (Grass) - Nadal the winner with 6-4 6-4 6-7(5) 6-7(8) 9-7

Well we all wanted it and there it was the 3rd time Nadal and Federer going head to head in a wimbledon final, and what a final it turned out to be. The best match point by point played by any two players in the history of tennis.

outcome :Nadal falling to the dew-laden turf as the realisation dawned that he was the new champion. And again we all want another final 2009?? will we get our wish



2007 Wimbledon Finals Finals (Grass) - Federer the winner with 7-6(7) 4-6 7-6(3) 2-6 6-2

What everyone hoped for after 2006 final was granted to them, Federer going for the 5th title, Nadal wanted to prove his 2006 final was not a fluke.

The match was fantastic from start to end, with heartbreak for Nadal in the fifth set where he should have taken the lead and won the championship.

Outcome: Federer got his fifth, but to me this match was Nadal's more than the all time classic match was was to be played in 2008.



2006 Wimbledon Finals (Grass) - Federer the winner with 6-0 7-6(5) 6-7(2) 6-3

Here was the first match between federer and Nadal on Grass, even though federer had lost to Nadal on clay going into this match federer was on a high looking for his fourt wimbledon and won it, But for Nadal it was a very good experience the way he adapted to grass was a surprise to everyone and many of the pundits said "These two are the best players, with Nadal edging closer all the time.

Outcome : We were left for another final between these two great players.
